The Northern Colorado Real Estate Investor Group (NCREIG) has been teaching real estate investor classes on a wide range of real estate investor topics for Northern Colorado Real Estate Investors since 2003.
Prior to COVID, classes were held live at the Fort Collins Board of Realtors (near Drake and Shields in Fort Collins). Since COVID, we’ve been holding the classes via Zoom until it is safe to return to in-person meetings.
Join the Northern Colorado Real Estate Investor Group (it’s free) on Meetup and RSVP to attend one of the NCREIG classes.
NCREIG Class Topics
NCREIG class topics have included beginner topics like how to get your first deal done, how to come up with down payments to invest in real estate and financing investment properties.
Beginner topics are a great place to start if you’re new to real estate investing or want to know how the basics apply to investing in Fort Collins, Loveland, Greeley and surrounding areas.
While we do cover topics like creative financing, BRRR, fix and flips and wholesaling these topics have been somewhat challenging in our extremely hot seller’s market in Northern Colorado the last few years.
Instead we’ve covered strategies to work better in our local market including long-term buy-and-hold real estate investing, the Nomad™ real estate investing strategy, house hacking, and selling properties on lease-options.
These deep-dive NCREIG classes tend to be super popular. They cover “what’s working now” in our local market.
Intermediate topics include analyzing deals, property management and tenant screening.
Advanced topics include asset protection, advanced financial modeling of entire real estate investing strategies and real estate portfolio optimization.
We teach about 40 different real estate investor classes each year and record most of them. Many of the recordings can be found on the podcast.
Some recordings are reserved as a perk for brokerage clients of James and Tammy Orr.
